Ummah Unity Seminars
Islahee Jamaat & Aalmi Tanzeem ul Arifeen, based on the shrine of Hadrat Sultan Bahoo, is a platform that is above any ethnic divide or sectarian antagonism. Allah has stated in Surah Al-Maida of the Holy Book, “Today, we have completed Islam as religion for you.” After this, there is no room in the religion for any identity other then the religious (Islamic) identity as Hadrat Sultan Bahoo says in his Punjabi poetry:
“Na main Shia, na main Sunni, mera dohan to dil saria Hoo”
“I am neither Shia nor Sunni, both (divisions) make me heart distressful.
Majority of Islamic thinkers have emphasized that revival of religion lies in the fact that its followers should adopt Islamic identity instead of any lingual, regional, ethnic, sectarian or social identities. Islahee Jamaat & Aalmi Tanzeem ul Arifeen is striving to promote unity and harmony among Muslims worldwide on the basis of their common values and common concerns. Allah’s Sacred Book also teaches us that sincere effort for search of water in deserts of Makkah was the duty of Hadrat Hajira, while miracle of flow of water spring beneath Hadrat Ismaeel’s heels was Allah’s reward for that sincere effort. Hence, sincere and consistent effort for the tough but sacred cause is the duty of every Muslim and Allah shall, as reward for this continuous effort, bless Muslim Ummah with unity and harmony.
Here it is necessary to bear in mind that Islahee Jamaat & Aalmi Tanzeem ul Arifeen is not striving for any limited – in scope or timeline – unity among Muslims, rather for wide range unity so that they get liberated from different political of religious divisions and collectively work on internal, external, defense and commercial fronts for promotion and implementation social and economic justice, education, health, employment, sanctity of life, honor and property, peace and other basic human rights in their countries as different nations of the world have united to solve their problems as in the American continent (United States of America), in the European continent (European Union), in the African continent (African Union), in South Asia (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation - SAARC), in the Gulf (Gulf Cooperation Council), in Central Asia (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) etc. these institutions came into being on common values and common concerns of their member states. Similarly, the Muslims world over have right – as well as obligation – to get united on the basis of their common values and common concerns.
To promote this thought Islahee Jamaat & Aalmi Tanzeem ul Arifeen organizes different events like seminars, conferences etc. wherein different religious scholars, political and defense analysts are invited not only to enlighten general public on the sensitive issue but also to draw attention of our policy-making institutions and authorities towards it.
